IT SHOULD INCLUDE:HEADING: I will include a title at the top again stating the name of the magazine but this time slightly smaller. I will also put 1 or 2 sub-headings on to give insights on what the magazine is about.
COLOUR: I will use the same colour scheme as used on the cover, which will make it uniform. I found that many existing contents pages use various colours for the number of the page, and the title of the page, making it look a lot more interesting. I will also use this technique.
Also, the headlines used on the front cover will be put in a different colour to inform the reader that they are the most important stories.
DETAILS: On lots of magazines, the layout is kept the same throughout, this includes the details at either the top or bottom of the page, others do not, which gives me the option. These details include the web address, fax and telephone, and sometimes the address. I now know that I can use any, or all of these details on my either both my cover and contents, just one of the pages, or neither.
LOGO: The logo isn't too important. I do not have to invent a seperate logo, I can just use the magazine masthead. Many existing magazines such as 'Q' do this, but others do create a totally seperate one. This tells me that again I do have the option of whether I wish to do this or not.
