The main image, either of a band or single music artist, dominates almost the full layout of the cover. I should use a shot like a medium close up in order to make my music magazine look like any other, as this is the kind of shot used on many existing music magazines.

I also found that the group or artist is never smiling, which brings me to language, how the image communicates to the audience. I also need to consider this so that my magazine will look realistic.
